Since 2001, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) has hosted the Water Matters Fly-In in Washington, DC, representing a significant initiative of the Water Utility Council of AWWA, which is charged with providing oversight of the government affairs program.
While the landscape is challenging, the good news is that funding is still available. Communities that plan intentionally and prepare early are the ones best positioned to secure support.
