Emerging Perspectives: Abby Bowman on Learning in the Field at Ramsey WTP

When Abby Bowman joined AE2S as an Engineer-in-Training, she stepped into the water treatment plant project in Ramsey, Minnesota. Over the next two and a half years, she watched the facility transform from plans on paper into a fully constructed 10 MGD iron and manganese treatment plant designed to serve the City of Ramsey for years to come.

Along the way, Abby gained hands-on experience with the construction process, collaborated with contractors and city staff, and learned from the many skilled professionals on site. In this video, Abby shares what it was like working on her first major project, what she learned from the people around her, and why the experience has been such a meaningful part of her early career.
